Established in December 2021, REVAMP Wellness Center for Men is an independently owned clinic in Jacksonville, FL aimed at improving male specific conditions. We believe in using a client-centered approach to create customized plans to help our customers reach their health goals.

Description

We are expanding and looking to hire a part-time certified medical assistant to help keep up with our growing number of clients. In addition to having experience as a medical assistant, the ideal candidate must have a strong background in customer service, be a self-starter, and bilingual (English & Spanish). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Receptionist & administrative duties such as greeting clients, answering phone calls, maintaining calendars, and light maintenance.

Working directly with the clinical director to come up with and execute ideas to bolster business (events, social media, promotional).

Taking medical histories.

Explaining treatment procedures to patients.

Preparing patients for examinations.

Assisting the practitioner during examinations.

Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.

Performing basic laboratory tests.

Instructing patients about medication and special diets.

Preparing and administering medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a licensed provider.

Transmitting prescription refills as directed.

Phlebotomy.

Documenting full vital signs.

Using computer applications.

Answering telephones.

Welcoming patients.

Updating and filing patient medical records.

Coding.

Scheduling appointments.

Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services.

Handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping.

Keep patient records secure through our EMR Optimantra and marketing software.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant

Experience using Optimantra is preferred but not required

Must be customer service oriented and eager to grow

Must be fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

Must complete a background check

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday (flexible scheduling; TBD upon hiring)
