Immediate (Part Time) Certified Medical Assistant opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Cincinnati, OH (Westwood Area).

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Schedule:

• Monday 7:00am – 11:00am
• Wednesday 12:00pm – 6:00pm
• Thursday 9:30am - 1:30pm
• Plus an additional 4 hours of admin time weekly

Job Details:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
• Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant with prior occupational health or emergency/acute care experience preferred.
• Strong phlebotomy skills required
• Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
