At the Ranch, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) are essential. COTAs provide the services that help our kids continue to heal and grow to become their best selves.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants at the Ranch are continually collaborating within a team consisting of Occupational Therapists (OT), a psychiatrist, psychologists, nurses, therapists, Youth Care Workers and families, as well as COTA counterparts. COTAs build relationships with the kids and see positive changes through building strengths and skills.

As a COTA at the Ranch, you will be supported to continue to learn and apply knowledge of sensory integration, emotional regulation, school functioning, self-care and independent living.
Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, the COTA implements interventions from the individualized plan of care to meet the needs of the kids. Clients are mainly in our psychiatric residential care and qualified residential treatment programs.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) in the state of North Dakota.
This position requires workers to be at least 21 years of age, pass a thorough background reference check, possess a current driver’s license, have an insurable driving record and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
