Our medical campus consists of several healthcare options for local residents including Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Dopson Family Medical Center, Baker Rural Health Clinic and the W. Frank Wells Nursing Home. The mission of Baker County Medical Services is to continually enhance the health and well-being of the people we serve through caring and excellence.

Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit a Full-Time CRNA to join our Medical and Surgical team.

Job Responsibilities.

· Provide pre-anesthetic patient education, preparation, and evaluation.

· Recommend, request, and evaluate pertinent diagnostic studies.

· Select, prepare and administer anesthetic agents or other agents required for management of anesthetic care.

· Inform Anesthesiologist and/or Surgeon of changes in patient’s condition throughout procedure.

· Provide post anesthesia follow-up. Report and evaluate patient’s response to anesthesia for potential anesthetic complications.

• SALARY: Negotiable and based on experience.

Qualification: Must have excellent verbal and written communication proficiency with strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment. Must be skilled in airway management techniques and chronic pain treatment. Proficient understanding of current anesthesia practices and techniques.

· Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program

· Minimum 2 years working experience as CRNA in an acute setting.

· Valid Florida State RN License

· Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. (NBCRNA)

· Current CPR/BLS

· National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $172,000.00 per year
