Nursing services include taking medication orders and supervising the dispensing of medications; charting and medical record keeping; assessing medical health concerns, including infection control and assuring that needs are met in a timely manner; working with the staff nutritionist to meet patients dietary needs; communicating with case managers or adults in charge of the patients physical health; assisting with injuries and accidents; and consultation with direct care staff. Charge Nurses should also expect to smoothly and efficiently handle multiple demands and shifting priorities in order to meet client needs.

Must be at least 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Pay rate:

Charge Nurse Pay rate starts at $32.50 per hour and increases contingent on education and experience.

Schedule: 7PM-7AM

Education Requirements:

Associate degree in nursing required. BSN preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

Licensure/Certification:

Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Kansas. Driver's License required.

Experience Requirements:

At least 2 years of prior experience or training in psychiatric nursing or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursing required.
