Job description
Prepares meals and snacks for the children enrolled in the Center ensuring that meals and snacks are ready at scheduled times. Prepares and serves food according to proper health and safety methods. May assist in classroom when necessary.

Demonstrates integrity and honesty • Work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent cooking skills • Flexible/adapts to constant change • Ability to plan work and follow a schedule • Ability to work flexible schedule consistent with hours of operation, and ability to adapt hours to the needs of the business • Commitment to complete annual state licensing training requirements • Ability to interact and communicate with tact and diplomacy with children, parents and school staff
Qualifications:
Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience. • Ability to be trained in food service certification. • Ability to be trained in CPR, Fire Safety, and Nutrition. Education required: • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience required: • 0 to 6 months working in professional food preparation.
