Jones-Hamilton Co. seeking a Chemical Operator/ Production for the Richburg, SC facility.

Jones-Hamilton Co., a manufacturer and distributor of chemical products used in animal agriculture, food processing and the consumer and industrial products is seeking a Full Time Chemical Operator for the Richburg, SC facility.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and recording production process parameters by sampling and inspection of in-process chemical product

• The Chemical Operator will react to chemical process deviations
• Performing and recording field reading parameters to monitor performance of ancillary and environmental control equipment
• The Chemical Operator will troubleshoot production processes and processing equipment
• Performing minor maintenance functions related to process equipment
• Ability to work on a 2-person crew, 2- week rotating 12 hour shifts
• Every other weekend off

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing related experience, chemical production is a plus
• HS Diploma or GED
• Basic math and computer functions
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to operate fork lift

Training Provided:

• Procedure and on the job training for production process and safety
• Monthly safety meetings and computer-based training
• Attend and pass requirements for 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training
• Attend first aid and CPR training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour
