A new, up and coming company is looking for strong leaders!

We are searching for a professional to join our team where a strong understanding and experience in chemistry is required for manufacturing food products. You will work in a high-pressure/demanding environment with the goal of meeting customer expectations and timelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into an exciting new industry.

This position will require lifting of 50 pounds or more on an occasional basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working in a lab environment to evaluate performance and production, and identifying adjustments to increase efficiency and output.
• Managing priorities and multi-tasking will be essential as you plan lab activities to meet internal and external customer expectations and specifications.
• Effective interaction with both internal and external customers including Manufacturing and Sales teams.
• Managing chemistry and production equipment to optimize output and extend equipment life.
• Manage a team that works across multiple day part shifts.

Qualifications

• Degrees - bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Polymers, Biology or related field.
• Experiences - 2 or more years in a management role.
• General understanding of butane, Carbon Dioxide, ethanol, among other chemicals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills with an ability to manage priorities and multi-tasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
