Job Summary
This position will be assisting in setting up and organizing new laboratory, initially. After successful set up of the new laboratory, the candidate will perform chemical and physical analysis of in-coming samples according to established test procedures to determine the identity, assay testing, stability, and other characteristics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, finished goods and stability samples
- Accurately documents all necessary and relevant information in a clear and concise manner per cGMP regulation
- Receives and follows instructions on tasks with accuracy and great attention to detail
- Provide assistance in method development and validation activities as needed
- Perform laboratory investigations in support of testing
- Adheres to safety regulations and OSHA procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Skill Sets:
- One or two years of laboratory experience preferable in pharmaceutical, chemical or food laboratory preferred although fresh graduates are acceptable as well
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be computer literate, working knowledge of the basic hardware, software, internet including word and excel
- Must be able to maintain a safe working environment and follow safety procedures
