Job description
Work as a member of a Trail Maintenance Corps, to maintain, repair, and build trails throughout the North Zone of the Cherokee National Forest. Work completed will protect the wildlife habitat and water quality in addition to improving recreational access to forest lands.
The Corps team will build trails with gravel and associated materials, restore impacted areas, and replace signage as needed. Preparing construction materials, ensuring proper tool maintenance, and potentially running chainsaws will be functions of the team.
