Chester High School
The Delaware County Intermediate Unit is pleased to conduct the search for the next High School Principal of the Chester Upland School District.
The Chester Upland School District is a midsized, urban public school district serving the City of Chester, the Borough of Upland and Chester Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Located between Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware, the District educates about 3,200 students in grades Pre-K – 12. Chester-Upland School District operates a high school (on two campuses) and five elementary schools. Chester High School serves approximately 1000 students and meets eligibility as a Title I school. The school comprises grades ninth through twelfth, with a student group that is 96.5% economically disadvantaged, 5.9% English Language Learners, and 33.4% special education. The enrollment by race/ethnicity is: American Indian/Alaskan Native (.09%), Asian (.1%), Black (82.2%), Hispanic (13.1%), White (1.6%) and 2 or More Races (3.0%). Compensation
Competitive salary and benefit package. Starting salary range $124,000 - $155,000
