• Ensure operational direction aligns with overall corporate strategy and goals
• Manage a diverse group of operational professionals and inspire continuous improvement across the company’s global supply chains
• Proactively ensure the company’s internal and external supplier base are properly positioned to facilitate rapid growth
• Forecast and manage operational budgets to ensure cost effectiveness in all internal operations
• Develop a comprehensive balanced scorecard encompassing all key metrics which contribute to the company’s success
• Partnering with the Vice President of Sales, establish and drive the annual sales and operational planning process
• Collaborate with other C-level peers, department leaders and the CEO regarding operational performance and its financial impacts
• Stay updated on industry and global economic trends to ensure the company is positioned to remain nimble during socio-political changes and to best mitigate operational risk
• Support the Perennials & Sutherland brands by ensuring product quality continually exceeds expectations
• Recruit, train and manage professional supply chain talent to facilitate company growth

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Ideal candidate would have at least 10 years’ experience as COO, preferably with experience in a Lean manufacturing environment, or a CFO with Operations Finance and Plant Controller Background
• Demonstrated competency in leading global organizations through periods of rapid growth
• Proven track record of delivering on results
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Outstanding organizational management and leadership abilities to deliver results
• Communication at all levels of the organization and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven aptitude in analytical, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving
• Comfort with constant change
• Strategic mindset with a tactical understanding
• Lean management skills
• Spanish language a plus
• Travel requirement of 15%-20%, mostly international (Mexico and India)
