We are looking for a FLEXIBLE, COMMUNICATIVE & PASSIONATE Individual to fill a FULL TIME position in Lakeland, FL caring for our two children. This will be a fulltime position with hours from 6am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. We have a 5 year old boy with ASD and a 17 month old daughter. We need someone local to the LAKELAND AREA (North/South Lakeland/Bartow/ Lakeland Highlands) to follow our base schedule.
This will be a 1099 Contractor position and the payout would range from $500-$650 a week, to start - Paid Weekly. Pay range is based on availability to start, experience & skill set. This is a full-time, NO ENDING, but rolling contract. We need stability in a caregiver and we can provide a stable income. Most of the basic needs will be:
- Arriving on time daily at 6am Monday - Friday. Departing time will be roughly 5:30pm depending on the needs of our son.
- Changing diapers, bathing, help on potty training, overall morning and bed time routines, administering daily vitamins and medications, reading/learning, feeding, playtime schedules, and driving kids to and from school, therapy, appointments, etc. is A MUST.
- Having a Data Plan sufficient enough to be in CONSTANT communication with My wife and I is a MUST. Phone calls, video calls and frequent texting is A MUST. Sharing pictures, coordinating pick ups, Early dismally, park and store runs is what we should be seeing in a group text between the caregiver, my wife and myself.
- Patience with handling the needs and wants of two kids is NEEDED. Experience with ASD and NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION is A MUST.
The Caregiver would need to have a clean driving record, a working and safe vehicle with booster & Car seat (extra booster/car seat can be avaible if needed), have a good cellular device and plan, be at least 25 years old, CPR/First Aid Certified, DCF Hours Completed, experienced working with infants, toddlers & kids on the spectrum ( is a definite plus) and adhere to a background check. We are looking to hire ASAP and look to start the morning of MONDAY, May 8th.
We will be setting up phone call interviews as well as meet and greets with the family and potential candidates. The Approved candidate will sign a year to year contract to keep employment by the family, if they wish to chose, as, again this employment /job need is rolling and has no end date. A YEARLY RAISE WILL BE GIVEN, because we want to develop a committed but fun and longlasting relationship between caregiver/nanny and family.
