THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chip Lead to join our team in developing an adaptable System-on-Chip (SOC). The candidate will be responsible for leading the design of the SOC from architectural definition all the way through production release. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing SOCs and a deep understanding of SOC architectures.

The ideal candidate person will have demonstrated experience as a leader to influence and drive SOC teams. Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Possessing strong technical leadership and ability and desire to be hands on in all phases of development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development of the Adaptable SOC’s from concept to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, software, architecture, and hardware teams to develop a high-quality SOC products
- Work cross-functionally to define SOC requirements, including hardware, software, and system-level requirements.
- Work closely with design and verification teams to ensure that the chip design meets the required performance and functionality specifications.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize chip-level PPA.
- Review chip-level simulations and analysis to validate design and identify potential issues early in the design process.
- Work with the manufacturing team to ensure a smooth transition from design to production, including resolving any production-related issues.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven years of experience in the design and development of SOCs, with a number of years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SOC architectures, including processor cores, memory subsystems, and communication interfaces.
- Experience with chip design tools, such as Verilog, SystemVerilog and industry-standard EDA tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and production release is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
