Beals Associates, PLLC. in Stratham, NH is looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
We are a small fast paced engineering firm that was opened in 2001. For the past 20 years, we have been providing exemplary civil engineering services to private homeowners, developers, public and nonprofit organizations with professional quality.
Position
- Registered NH Professional Engineer/Project Manager
- At least ten years of professional design and construction administration experience
- Local, state and federal permitting knowledge. Ability to make presentations to planning boards and proficiency in AutoCAD/Carlson necessary. B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage civil design and construction administration services for site development
- Foster relationships with existing clients and develop new client relationships to sustain and grow the firm’s civil engineering practice
- Develop and review engineering feasibility studies, design plans, contract documents, opinions of probable cost, and bid documents for civil design projects
- Perform occasional field work and travel as necessary support projects and client relationships
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience with design and construction administration of site civil development projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge with AutoCAD/Carlson and Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with stormwater modeling software (HydroCAD or similar) is preferred.
- Experience working with municipalities, state transportation agencies, and regional planners on planning, design, and construction of transportation projects is preferred.
- Septic Design & Permitting a plus.
