RESPEC Company, LLC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company, is seeking an individual to provide professional engineering services as part of our office in Sarasota, Florida. The candidate will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services that are related to residential and commercial development and/or stormwater engineering for municipalities. Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
Qualifications: At a minimum, the successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
- 4 to 10 years of experience in stormwater engineering and/or land development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain license within 6 months of start date
- Project experience including successful delivery of civil engineering planning studies, designs, and construction documents.
Additional preferred qualifications include the following:
- Experience in providing engineering services in Manatee and Sarasota Counties
- Familiarity with development and design processes that are specific to Manatee and Sarasota Counties
- Practical application of ICPR or other hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g. HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, EPA SWMM, etc.)
- Experience in developing and guiding construction plan package preparation
- Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.

Salary Range: Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
