Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is hiring a Claims Examiner to work in the St. Cloud, Minnesota office. This is NOT a remote or work from home position. The Claims Examiner-Level 1, is primarily responsible for processing simple to moderate, cargo, general liability and physical damage claims in accordance with company and department objectives. This position will process overage, shortage and disposition claims on an as-needed basis and negotiate claim settlements and manage subrogation.

“What does it take to be successful?”

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and claims processing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling complex issues. Previous claims handling experience or paralegal experience preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand tort and state laws as it relates to assigned claims.
• Working knowledge of insurance policies and coverages, self-funded insurance plans, cargo contracts motor carrier equipment and cargo value preferred but will train.
• Ability to analyze and interpret legal documents.
• Research and manage simpler routine to moderate third party cargo damage, liability, and physical damage claims.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
