M2 Anesthesia is looking for a detail-oriented, quality, and precision-focused candidate to join our administrative team as a full-time, Monday-Friday, Claims Specialist.
This is an entry-level position for our growing pediatric general anesthesia group, and you will be primarily helping with submitting our Medicaid anesthesia billing claims in WA and OR. Billing software experience is not required, but a plus! Coding experience is not necessary – we will train you since we use less than 5 codes in daily billing. Claims submission experience is a bonus and will lead to immediate consideration.
Our office is home-based, located in North Orem, Utah.
Who is M2 Anesthesia? Our doctors are mobile anesthesiologists that provide general anesthesia for pediatric dental patients in the dental clinic. Our office supports the doctors with the patients, insurance and claims. Please click on the link to learn more!
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Submitting medical claims to Oregon and Washington Medicaid companies
- Submitting claims to private insurance companies
- Processing payments/statements from insurance companies
- Calling insurance companies to resolve claims
- Supporting day-to-day operations of the office, periodically as the need arises
