Family owned upscale liquor store located in beautiful Greenwood Village is seeking to hire an honest, reliable, and energetic cashier & stocker. Our store is a friendly, fast-paced atmosphere focused on outstanding customer service and product knowledge. We are looking for someone who can appreciate the great environment, awesome co-workers, and an elevated/friendly customer clientele. We need a PROACTIVE individual with a good attitude. Liquor store experience is a great plus, but we will gladly train the right candidate. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store. Ensure the store is well maintained and meets or exceeds company standards for appearance. Gain and maintain knowledge of products and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products. Maintain familiarity with adult beverage product names, pronunciation, origin and definition of industry terms. Inform customers of Beer/Wine/Spirits specials. Recommend Beer/Wine/Spirits items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need. Adequately prepare, package, inventory, and merchandise. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand on your feet for long shifts. Must be able to run a computerized cash register. Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability is required Must be able to work flexible hours. Previous liquor store, retail experience is a plus, but not required. Customer service experience IS required. Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits is plus.
