Job description

Are you ready for the next step in your PT career? Do you see yourself as a leader? Are you passionate about your personal growth and building relationships with other professionals? Are you energized by variety in your work day?

At Outpatient Physical Therapy, Clinic Directors are independent leaders with influence. They set the tone for the culture of their clinic and help staff thrive at work to create a positive experience for all patients. Through in-house leadership training, individualized mentorship, and biweekly management team meetings, Clinic Directors learn how to be responsible for the day to day clinical and business operations of their clinic. Clinic Directors sustain an orthopedic caseload, are board certified (preferably), and mentor students and residents. Because of their clinic leadership, personal relationships with referral sources and community involvement, Clinic Directors are critical in carrying out Outpatient Physical Therapy's mission "to improve the quality of life of all of those around us."

At Outpatient Physical Therapy, we are passionate about building the next generation of leaders. We want to help you grow so you can help others grow. We are currently interviewing experienced therapists with strong orthopedic skills who are passionate about leadership for our Clinic Director position in the South King County area.

About Outpatient Physical Therapy

We believe patients deserve the highest level of personalized care that can be provided. This is why we offer generous continuing education budgets to every therapist and support professional growth for every therapist. More than 75% of our physical therapists hold advanced certifications (but only less than 5% of physical therapists in general), and all of our therapists receive personalized outcomes reports.

We believe in serving our community. This is why we volunteer at local food banks together and sponsor the Raise the Bar Triathlon team. Our volunteer team plans monthly activities that allow us to have fun working as a team to give back to our community.

We believe work should be fun. This is why the #1 reason OPT employees love their work is the "fun, family atmosphere." We celebrate the holidays together at our annual party in December, race in triathlons as a team, and attend Mariners games together.

OPT is a PT-owned private practice with 7 locations across South King and Pierce counties in Washington state. We have been providing top-of-scope care since we opened in 1983, and our reputation is best represented by the fact that 98% of our patients would refer a friend or family member.

Outpatient Physical Therapy is proud to provide excellent orthopedic therapy to our community as well as many specialty services, including Occupational/Hand Therapy, Vestibular/Balance Services, Sports Medicine, Chronic Pain Management, Work Injury Treatment and Conditioning, Amputee Services, Massage Therapy, Aquatic Therapy and Women's Health.
