Woodburn, Oregon - MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility
Salary: $2,823.00 - $4,073.00 monthly / $16.29 - $23.50 hourly non-PERS
$3,005.00 - $4,356.00 monthly / $17.34 - $25.13 hourly PERS
Current Available Shift:
- Monday thru Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Are you ready to make a positive impact on the lives of youth in our care? We are looking for a Clinic Support Specialist to join our team at MacLaren Youth Correctional facility in Woodburn, Oregon!
As a Clinic Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining medical files and ensuring the confidentiality of records. You'll also get to screen and route incoming phone calls, while providing friendly and professional customer service to youth and staff. Plus, you'll get to help schedule appointments, retrieve property, and assist with client billings.
And that's not all! You'll also get to order office supplies, monitor office equipment, and operate computers and software programs, including the Juvenile Justice Information System and EPIC. As a positive role model, you'll even coordinate and arrange transportation for on-campus appointments with our medical staff.

What We Are Looking For:
- Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
- An Associate's degree; OR
- Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one year of general clerical experience.
The executive order that mandated vaccination or an exception to the vaccine requirement ended March 31, 2022. Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 333-019-1010, require that healthcare providers and healthcare staff in healthcare settings are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and/or have an approved exception in place. We have added a verification question, COVID-19 Vaccination Status, to the pre-employment questionnaire for those positions an agency determines meet the criteria for the vaccination requirement.

- Knowledge and/or experience working in a juvenile system or similar environment.
- Knowledge and/or experience with electronic health management system EPIC.
- Microsoft office experience.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with disciplines (medical doctor, dentist, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, transport staff)
- Reliable and dependable.
- Positive Role Model skills.
