Job description
- Complete duties as assigned by the Dean and Associate Dean of Nursing.
- Create clinical assignments for each cohort by clinical location and nursing instructor.
- Maintain nursing instructor contact information and availability schedule.
- Maintain student and faculty files in MyClinicalExchange each term.
- Prepare documents for clinical partners as needed.
- Maintain nursing student and faculty clinical and HIPAA files.
- Maintain the nursing faculty data: end of course surveys, faculty course surveys, ATI content mastery exam progress, program outcome surveys
- Maintain the Nursing Faculty credentialing files, collaborate with the Education Assistant as needed.
- Complete end of course evaluations for statistical analysis and file appropriately.
- Compile and maintain the demographic data sheet for all nursing cohorts including list of personal emails.
- Collect data on program outcomes 6 months after graduation.
- Schedule clinical orientation for each location, faculty, and student each term. Schedule clinical drug screening per the individual clinical location’s requirements.
- Ensure clinical badges are available to students and instructors in a timely manner. Track and return clinical badges to the correct facility as required by the clinical partners
- Reviews immunization and medical documents as needed with the Dean or Associate Dean of Nursing for interpretation.
- Maintain nursing student data sheet on new and existing students, notify students 3 months in advance of expiring documents.
- Maintains confidentiality of student and faculty records.
- Attend meetings; take, prepare, distribute, and file meeting minutes.
- Schedule appointments for students to meet with the Nursing Department personnel as needed.
- Assist in ordering instructional, lab, and office supplies as needed each term, reconcile all orders, and collaborate with the Sourcing and Procurement Specialist.
- Maintain education data needed for reporting the program outcomes to Board(s) of Nursing, ACEN, all other accrediting entities, including data for student satisfaction\surveys, faculty meetings, incident reports, in-service meetings, curriculum, etc.
- Ensure printers and copiers are in good working order and resolve issues with vendors and IT team as the arise.
- Prepare and distribute memoranda and other correspondence to faculty, staff and students as needed.
- Assists with preparing Board of Nursing, and ACEN related documents as requested.
- Perform other duties as requested.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- 2 years of experience working in an administrative higher education and/or a medical office setting preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; previous experience supervising or coordinating staff projects desired.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
- Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and manage projects.
- Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to be a self starter.
- Must be able to work with little direction.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- A positive attitude is required.
- Strong commitment to serving students’ needs required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
COMPENSATION:
- Full Time position
- Non-Exempt - hourly position
- $18.00 to $22.05 per hour
- Compensation dependent on experience, knowledge, and education level
