Job Description:
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely analysis of medical laboratory specimens. Your responsibilities will include performing complex laboratory procedures, interpreting and analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with quality control and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, contribute to research activities, and participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy
• Analyzing and interpreting test results, and reporting findings to healthcare providers
• Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Contributing to the development and validation of new laboratory tests and techniques
• Maintaining accurate records of tests performed and results obtained
• Keeping abreast of advancements in laboratory technology and participating in continuing education activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Valid certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from an accredited certifying agency
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
