Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates CMHC’s Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) program, ensuring each department has a QAPI plan which is represented in the appropriate hospital’s QAPI Plan.
  • Provides feedback and guidance to departments who need assistance with their QAPI Plan.
  • Champions continuous quality improvement throughout the system using Lean, Six Sigma, Clinical Microsystems, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborates with the Result Management Office to ensure all process improvement projects are included in the QAPI Plan and to request assistance for departments that may need process improvement coaching.
  • Coordinates CMHC’s annual evaluation of contracts that contain quality indicators to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates with the Legal department to ensure all contracts that contain QAPI indicators are part of the QAPI program.
  • Manages multiple assignments, balances priorities and makes decisions quickly.
  • Prepares analyses and reports; provides recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Expresses excellent judgment, discretion and decision making abilities.
  • Maintains a sensitive, respectful, neutral, and authentic approach to dealing with all employees.
  • Demonstrates effective use-of-self in coaching, training, facilitation, and process improvement leadership.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information at all times.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and performs duties of the position in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of self and others.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lean practitioner (in hospital settings preferred).
  • Green Belt certification in Lean and/or Lean Sigma Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $69,306.00 - $87,339.00 per year
