Summary: Responsible for coordinating and collaborating with investigators, clinical staff, and research subjects to schedule and screen potential subjects for research studies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruits and schedules study participants for research studies.
- Works in affiliation and collaboration with other research sites.
- Coordinates and collaborates with principal/sub-investigators to schedule research subjects for screen potential subjects for participation in research studies.
- Always maintains subject and document confidentiality; Understands and complies with the appropriate sponsor requirements, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, good clinical practice (GCP), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Institutional Review Boards (IRB), and Pinnacle’s policies, work instructions, and procedures.
- Reviews, maintains, and advises on expert knowledge of study related activities and protocols when contacting subjects for participation in research trials.
- Adheres to study protocols, Food and Drug Administration regulations, and good clinical practices at all times.
- Manages recruitment calls/emails, including incoming calls/emails and calling/emailing potential research subjects.
- Tracks recruitment efforts, subject interaction, and subject participation in research studies, utilizing a clinical trial management system.
- Meets specific recruitment goals for as set for research facility and study projections.
- Participates in community outreach efforts to recruit subjects for research studies.
- Performs other duties and task as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License

- Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-10 hours per day.
- Frequent mobility required.
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, or bending.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including medical equipment with a maximum lift of 20-50 lbs.
