Clinical Supervisor (Dental Clinic-Oral Surgery Clinic)
Job description
Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, responsible for assisting with oversight of the administrative and clinical area of assigned personnel.
Job Duties:
- Maintains and upholds established clinic patient care, operational procedures, and employee policies in supervising assigned personnel.
- Assess staffing needs, maintains master schedule and makes recommendations on staffing needs.
- Develops, trains and evaluates staff.
- Monitors compliance to system usage, reviews reports, aids staff with understanding significance of information, and provides technical assistance as needed.
- Participates in committees and facilitates and/or conducts clinical staff meetings when needed.
- Oversees primary dental functions and direct patient care.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience is required.
Additional Licenses and Certifications:
Registered as a Dental Assistant with the State of Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is preferred.
Supervisory Requirements:
Has the authority to direct the work of others, hire or fire employees, or provide recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employee.
