Holcomb Behavioral Health System is seeking to hire a Clinical Support Services Specialist (Administrative Assistant)

Position Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5pm (30 minute lunch break)

Location: Exton, PA

The Clinical Support Services (CSS) Department of a large behavioral health agency in Exton, PA, is seeking administrative staff to receive intake calls for several mental health outpatient offices in our region, process referrals, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, schedule appointments and assist with other administrative duties as needed.

This position has the responsibility to work cooperatively with other administrative and clinical staff members to manage client communication and needs, whether on the phone or in person. This position ensures that all referrals are processed quickly and efficiently and that appointment scheduling is efficient and accurate.

We are seeking individuals will provide excellent customer service and are passionate about helping others. The CSS role provides a great foundation for those looking to grow in the mental health field.

Responsibilities for position include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for answering the intake line during business hours.
  • Responsible for processing all new referrals and securing insurance eligibility verifications.
  • Responsible for the transmittal of referral information to the appropriate person or service within the agency.
  • Responsible for data entry of all referral information in electronic record.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: One year experience in medical or behavioral health care office setting or other professional business office setting which includes customer service and data entry.

Required Clearances: Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Holcomb offers a generous benefit package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1 year salary of life insurance is available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week.
