POSITION

Behavioral Health Clinician - Telehealth

Position #4337

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides individual, family, and group counseling to adults or children and families; provides clinical assessments, intakes, and develops treatment plans; effectively interfaces with courts, social services; provides community education, consultation, and crisis intervention services, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

M1: Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia required. Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request

M2: Must maintain Virginia residency while providing Telehealth services

M3: Staff residing within a one hour commute to DPCS must complete training to obtain certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization within six months of hire, as well as provide coverage in Rapid Access located on DPCS’ main campus at a frequency determined based on the program needs

Preferred Requirements

P1: Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP

P2: One year experience providing mental health and/or substance use services to adults

P3: Experience providing specialized treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other forms of trauma (including from military and/or combat service, military sexual trauma, and substance use disorders)

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

$42,025 - $64,783

15% Increase for Licensure
