Responsibilities:
- Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements
- Researching information security standards
- Conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments
- Studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates
- Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision
- Assist with integrated, dynamic Cyberdefense, coordinate and maintain security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs, establish a framework by which cyber risk can be measured and quantified in the marketplace
- Advise government personnel on compliance to standards and policies
- Recommend courses of action for incident response, as well as oversee design of enterprise systems to ensure alignment with local cybersecurity regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires 12-15 years with BS/BA or 10-13 years with MS/MA or 10+ with a PhD
- Clearance required: TS/SCI and Poly eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other government and contractors in a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with multiple commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc..)
- Experience with Atlassian commercial tools including Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience or training with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodologies.
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes across the software development life-cycle.
