Job description
We are a small non-profit company looking to add empathetic, qualified individuals to our team. We work with individuals diagnosed with developmental and physical disabilities. Applicants must have a valid car and license, excellent communication skills, the ability to self-initiate tasks or find events, no lifting restrictions, a positive attitude, and be willing to work as part of a team. Applicants must be comfortable working with individuals who have seizure disorders, autism, mobility challenges, and other healthcare needs. The ideal candidate has experience in providing personal care and working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
Our employees assist with personal care and also are expected to take individuals out into the community, to volunteer sites, for recreational activities, and for medical appointments. Employees will be working in the homes of the individuals providing respite care for the families.
We are looking for a qualified person that holds a CNA license.
We are specifically hiring for positions located in Plainville.
We particularly need individuals available on the weekends or afternoons.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
