CNC/Manual Machinist Level 2
Position Location: Springfield/Westfield, MA
Duration: Full-Time

Qualifications and Experience

3+ years’ experience is strongly preferred.

Must be able to read and understand blueprints with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions (GD&T).

Mastercam programming with Proto Track control is a plus.

Familiar with with precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not be limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and dial bores.

Basic experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)

Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines. Should be able to setup and operate machine with minimal to no guidance.

Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry required.

Knowledge of various metal properties and machinability.

High School diploma or equivalence required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
