Kendall Howard has a position for an experienced CNC Machine Operator because we are expanding our manufacturing capabilities. This CNC Machinist will program, setup, and run our brand new MAZAK VCT200C Machining Center. We are all excited to bring precision machining into our pristine manufacturing environment and you could be the one to show us the way!

Principal Responsibilities

• Must be able to do setups and take projects from start to finish with first- article sign off.
  
• Make changes to existing CNC programs and tooling when necessary.
  
• Develop new CNC programs from either cad model or blueprint.
  
• Be responsible for designing fixtures, write g code program, select tooling, i.e. machine, machine part to spec.
  
• Help develop tooling, including special cutting tools and fixturing
  
• Follow all production documentation (ie. setup sheets, routing sheets, blueprints) and advise on any changes.
  
• Clearly communicate issues and expectations to management.
  
• Document all new part events and milestones and provide status reports to management

Desired Qualifications

• Mazak VTC-200C 2 years or equivalent (Required)
• 2 Years of work experience in CNC programming (Required)
• Precision manufacturing to high tolerances
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of vertical CNC machining centers
• Tooling, machining and inspection skills required
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour

Experience:
