CNC Machinist, Learn - NX 3D Modeling, CNC Programming, 3D Printing

This position pays from Entry-Level $18.00 per hour to $65K + Bonus DOE

• Entry Level NX, Mastercam, SolidWorks Programmer excepted!
• Do you want to learn NX-CAM programming but never had the chance?

• Lead the TEAM of operators to ensure products meet specifications
• Guide assemblers through assembly of the components to the 3D-Model Designs

Description:

PLENTY OF HANDS-ON machining & assembly you won't be stuck in the programming chair all day! Between the HAAS CNC machines, assembly and quality control you will by busy as part of our tooling team building complex tooling.

Growing Hi-tech manufacturing in McMinnville OR, specializing in orthopedic implants and turbine engine vane engineering, design, and manufacturing. We are seeking a CNC machinist who wants to improve their skills, income and/or grow into CNC programmer , Designer and/or Program Engineer using Siemens NX CAD/CAM software.

Program and lead the CNC operators through proper set-ups and good machining practices. Assist in assembly and lead the teams through the assembly of the components to specifications.

Learn to verify and/or lead your team to verify products using CMM and Laser Scanners to customer specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2-3 Years Experience with VMC CNC HAAS
• 2-3 Years setup with good machining practices is a must
• Willing to adapt and learn new manufacturing techniques
• Willing to work as a part of a TEAM bringing positive solutions
• Must be drug free!
• Mechanically inclined and have strong computer skills
• Programming experience, Master Cam, Solid Works, etc. is a plus
• Reliable, positive attitude, meticulous and organized
• Some inspection capabilities to inspect machined components for accuracy
• Ability to produce and/or read and interpret drawings and documentation
• Must have high attention to detail and awareness
• Strong understanding of analytical mathematics is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Primary Duties:

• Review & Ensure designs are correct and will meet specifications
• Help operators with HASS VMC setup, operations, feeds & speeds
• Edit programs and create inspection drawings to solid model design
• Review design models and suggest MO, design and manufacturing improvements
• Follow AS9100 procedures set in place and help improve processes
• Be involved in the development of our Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence called FAST
• Work with designers, offer manufacturing and problem-solving ideas
• Develop and document methods of operations
• CMM Verify and Blue light scan machined components
• Assembly and operation of tooling products
