Job description
The Business Analytics Co-Op position is responsible for providing support to the Aftermarket Business Analytics (BAMI) team in Florence, Ky. This position will provide daily support to the BAMI department by assisting in data analysis, process improvements, standard work documentation, ad-hoc & standard reporting, and project management. The employee will work primarily with the BAMI but will have regular interaction with multiple Meritor functions (Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Pricing, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:
- Use Data Analytics with knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau to analyze commercial and operational data to assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Complete monthly reporting and analysis and collaborate with appropriate teams to understand variances & provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and develop standard or ad-hoc reports for business partners.
- Work with BAMI team to assist in documenting standard work procedures for Analytics management.
- Support administrative changes with Salesforce to develop enhancements or reporting for end users.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a degree in one of the following: Business Analytics, Finance, Operations Management, or Business Management
- Outstanding computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word)
- Data Visualization skills preferred (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of SQL preferred
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for interaction and coordination responsibilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for project management requirements
