Madden Marine is seeking an experienced Coatings Production Manager. The successful candidate will have knowledge of specialty finishes, coating applications (NACE, SPCC and or AMPP certifications highly desirable) and extensive experience with project planning, estimating and budgeting.

Salary: 115K

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production process and coordinate estimates into work plans and schedules utilizing MS Project.
• Manage and supervise a team of production employees, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production schedules are met and products are delivered on time.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs to ensure profitability.
• Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are met and that the production facility is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure that all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Continuously improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure daily maintenance of equipment and upkeep.

Production Manager Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 10+ years of experience in heavy industry such as sandblasting, manufacturing or fabrication with increasing responsibilities
• 5+ years of supervisory experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Must have coatings and quality assurance knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend work specs, orders, blueprints, contracts and technical publications
• Proven track record of budgeting, estimating and planning projects
• Knowledge of OHSA safety, environmental and federal regulations.
• Traveling up to 20% of the time
