Store Manager

Scooter's Coffee Drive Thru, a premier coffee franchise, is seeking a store manager for our growing business. As part of the third fastest-growing chain of coffeehouses in the country, we have built our business on a strong work ethic teamed with a passion for people and coffee.

This position is critical to the success of each Scooter's location by ensuring efficient and profitable operations. Store managers are responsible for leading and empowering store staff members and maintaining quality store operations all while fostering an atmosphere of the "3 Amazings." This job requires customary and regular exercise of independent judgment and discretionary powers in the day-to-day performance of job duties. Company policies must be implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.

The successful management candidate has an outgoing personality coupled with the ability to lead a team of employees while multitasking and managing daily responsibilities in a fast-paced coffeehouse. The candidate must have a passion for training team members to provide an amazing customer experience.

Leadership - The ability to lead and build a team in a positive direction while following franchise regulations.

Administrative - The ability to efficiently staff and stock the coffeehouse while meeting all deadlines and maintaining payroll and product budgets.
Organizational - The ability to maintain an impeccable work environment both inside and outside the coffeehouse.

Customer Service - The ability to build sales and develop loyal relationships with customers by providing outstanding products and amazing service in a fast, friendly, efficient manner.
Professionalism - The ability to respond to both customers and employees in a professional manner that exudes high levels of personal and business ethics.

Key Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

Store Success & Profitability

Contributes to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, managing appropriate inventory and cost of goods control, and controlling labor costs. Maintains daily, weekly, and quarterly financial reports.
Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner. Maintains final accountability for store operations and staff development.

Ensures the proper types and amounts of materials, supplies, and merchandise are ordered and stocked. Effectively communicates new product information to staff members.

Team Member Development

Trains and develops partners to demonstrate all Scooter's customer service standards & operating standards. Expects and encourages full participation of staff members in creating store goals and developing action plans to accomplish those goals.
Determines daily and weekly staffing requirements, conducts job interviews, makes hiring and termination decisions, and creates weekly schedules. Provides ongoing performance feedback for staff members.

Maintains Quality Store Operations with all staff members following proper drink making procedures.
Organizes work throughout the store in a manner that facilitates efficient and quick customer service and therefore a profitable operation.

Delivering the Scooter's "Amazing Customer Service Experience" Consistently for all Customers

Ensures all customers receive the highest quality product and customer service possible. Ensures store appearance and equipment are maintained in a consistent manner.
Maintains consistent speed of service to the customer by ensuring all store staffing requirements.
