Job description
Under the direction of the undergraduate social work program’s Lead Academic Advisor, this College and Regional Recruiting and Enrollment Specialist 2 serves as a key member of the social work undergraduate academic and student affairs team. The College and Regional Recruiting and Enrollment Specialist 2 represents the College and the University and is responsible for building positive, professional relationships with prospective students (first year and transfer) and internal/external constituencies with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse social work student body. This position will plan, develop, coordinate, and execute the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the College's and University’s strategic enrollment goals.
Required Experience:
Experience in social work and/or student services desired; excellent verbal and written communication skills; sensitivity and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; ability to work both independently and collaboratively; dedicated to providing excellent service; creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field required; Bachelor of Social Work degree preferred. 2 years experience required, 2 – 4 years experience preferred.
