Audio-Visual Field Technician:

***We only perform services in commercial environments. Therefore, regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We have a great respect for our employees’ personal time as well so working outside of these hours is uncommon.***

Safety and quality workmanship are our #1 priority. Field Technicians will perform AV installations as well as service existing AV systems. These systems range from simple conference rooms to Emergency operation centers and control rooms. The qualified candidate will work with Technicians, Field Service Engineers, and Project Managers. However, the candidate must also be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and communicating directly with clients.

NOTE: Qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the AV/IT industry will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma, equivalent Associated Technical trade school Diploma, or College Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience in the AV/IT industry.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass State and Federal background checks.
• Requires experience interpreting schematics to install equipment, interconnect cables, and neatly dressing cabling in equipment racks.
• Control system platform experience (i.e., Crestron, Q-Sys, Utelogy, Extron, etc.) is desired.
• Demonstrate passion and a desire to continue education in this high-end and ever-evolving audio-visual industry.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, work at heights etc. Ability to work on lifts scaffolding, and ladders required.
• In addition to essential duties & responsibilities, candidate will receive company-sponsored, on-the-job training by Lead Technicians, Field Engineers or Project Managers. With this training, the candidate will be expected to gain in-depth knowledge and proficiency in completing required tasks.
• Exhibit positive and effective interaction with internal staff, external clients, and other trades is paramount.
• Must be able to demonstrate Safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
• Experience with custom wall-mounting commercial grade displays and video walls is required.
• Must be experienced in roughing in (pulling) and terminating/soldering cabling and installing all manner of low-voltage wiring.
• Performance of service tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.
• Ability to read and interpret both construction and AV drawings is preferred.
