Now Hiring: Communications Coordinator – Rock Hill, SC/Charlotte, NC (Partially Remote)
New Hope Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Communications Coordinator to help drive our mission forward through the power of effective storytelling.
Job Summary
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and deploying effective messaging and communication strategies. They must create or oversee the creation of branding and informative materials the company will send to the public. They will also be involved with internal company communications that help build our culture. They’ll work with all forms of media, including press releases and digital campaigns, print materials, social media, audio and video and more. Ultimately, it’s their job to make sure the amazing work being done at New Hope is amplified internally and externally.
Other job duties include:
- Responding to crises or challenging situations quickly and professionally.
- Attending speaking engagements and hosting special events.
- Making sure all company materials have consistent and positive messaging and branding.
- Developing relationships and working with media outlets and other companies.
- Expectations will involve some travel to the facility or other location events to gather content.
- Work/lead website efforts.
- Work hand in hand with our HR recruiting team.

- Exceptional communicator (written and oral).
- Gifted story teller.
- Ability to be the “face” of New Hope in many aspects.
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, referral sources and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in communications but other applicable degrees are acceptable.
- Three (3) years’ experience in communications (print or digital).
- High Energy. Self-starter. Able to operate independently.
