Job description

The purpose of the class is to coordinate the implementation and administration of CDBG economic development, microenterprise, public services, and public facilities and improvements project(s) primarily, in addition to administrative support to help ensure effective and efficient Division operations; to provide professional and courteous customer service at all times, and to perform other related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods that are general in nature and for which there are precedents. Work is performed with a medium level of autonomy and under general supervision of the Division Manager.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, policy, grant writing, community and/or economic development, or related field from an accredited institution. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in program management including administration of federal grants, contract management, community development, and economic development, OR an equivalent year-for-year combination of education and experience in a related field is required.
