This is a full-time position that will represent Seniors Helping Seniors® services in the community and with clients. This position is focused on understanding client needs and helping bring in additional business. The Community Relations Manager’s role will include working with clients and their families, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other providers in the senior care industry. They will need to identify, develop, and maintain referral sources. They will also need to attend events in the community, increasing community awareness of the Seniors Helping Seniors mission and values.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform in home visits with prospects and families, develop care plans based on needs, and discuss options that Seniors Helping Seniors offers
  • Build a network and pipeline of prospective referral sources and partnerships for Seniors Helping Seniors
  • Perform prospect visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities to educate and inform on Seniors Helping Seniors’ services
  • Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships for Seniors Helping Seniors
  • Present Seniors Helping Seniors marketing materials
  • Represent Seniors Helping Seniors at industry and chamber events
  • Fields referral calls and discusses opportunities that are brought to Seniors Helping Seniors

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Compassionate, kind, loving disposition for the elderly
  • 1-3 years Sales, Marketing, and/or Recruiting experience
  • Intuitive, good listener, strong communicator, solution-oriented, driven
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interested in learning, with an eye toward personal improvement
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Professionalism when working with remote families and caregivers in a structured environment
  • Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to learn and utilize our internet-based client management software (WellSky)
  • Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening

Compensation:

  • The Community Relations Manager will be paid based on experience with the opportunity to receive bonuses based on company performance.
  • The company does not offer health benefits at this time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oviedo, FL 32765: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Marketing: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Medical management: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
