POSITION AVAILABLE: Administrative Assistant - Construction

LOCATION: Murray, UT

POSTING CLOSES: December 15, 2019

POSITION SUMMARY: The administrative assistant will perform administrative duties and provide assistance to managers.

DUTIES:

  • Draft, compose, and edit letters, prepare reports, meeting agendas, minutes.
  • Perform general administrative support services including scanning, copying, faxing, and filing.
  • Help maintain system data files, organize faxes and emails for managers.
  • Handle project billings and payables, contracts, subcontracts, payroll, insurance certificates, and certified payrolls.
  • Handle miscellaneous projects and requests from managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor degree preferred and/or equivalent years of experience in a professional administrative environment.
  • Previous experience preferred in construction industry. Including working with UDOT forms and program. Also, Federal contracting requirements including Davis-bacon wages, and civil rights.
  • Preferred, experience with billing, payables, certified payrolls, contracts and subcontracts, insurance certificates.
  • Requires great public relations and communication skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Displays integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong technical skills including: project accounting and construction management software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ease in learning new programs.
  • Ability to complete difficult tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work towards and reach deadlines.
