Concrete Production Labor Needed!!
YEAR ROUND WORK! Overtime available.
Midwest Tile & Concrete, located in Woodburn, produces precast concrete to manufacture underground drainage structures. We service customers throughout northern Indiana and northwest Ohio. We need staff who are dependable, willing to work concrete production and have good attendance history. We depend on our staff to help us meet our customer's business needs.
Compensation:
1. Additional $2/hr. perfect attendance bonus on-top your hourly rate/starting pay for all hours worked that week. If you miss in a given week, you get another chance the following week.
2. Starting pay is $18/hr. with an increase to $19/hr. after 90 days of employment, provided you have 3 or less attendance points.
- We provide on-the-job training
- No HS diploma requirement
- Need to have basic reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to move up to or lift 75 pounds; able to climb ladders up to 2nd floor level
- Ability to work in varying temperatures inside which is influenced by the weather outside
- Full Benefit package offered
- Work cloths provided
Functions performed:
- Pour concrete into prepared forms
- Assist with removing cured product from molds
- Breakdown lined and unlined units
- Clean and oil all forms
- Maintain forms properly
- Ensure that all machinery is operational
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Perform daily cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular bases and comfortable going up a ladder
- Good attendance and dependable
- Language - English or Spanish
- On-The-Job training provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
