Pay Range: Base Annual Salary - $50,000 - $55,000; based on experience

Job Overview:
The Connections Project and Operations Coordinator will oversee the Connections program operational projects and tasks. This position will also be overseeing the Early Childhood Administrative Assistant working with the Connections program, as well as other staff in the organization, such as the Volunteer Manager. This position will also lead many projects for the Connections program, as project management and coordination is a large part of this role. The Connections Project and Operations Coordinator will also work closely with other areas of the organization, including the communications and the community outreach team. This position will help support outreach efforts in the community, as well as lead various programmatic projects, such as learning kits, welcome kits, parent advisory groups, and various office management tasks. This position will also work closely with the Chief of Staff and the Quality Improvement Manager.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt one’s work schedule is ideal, as some night and weekend hours will be required. Work will mainly be performed in the Family Futures office, or out in the community, as needed. Because this position may call upon participation in the community, there may be times when the use of a personal vehicle and lifting of boxes (roughly 25 lbs.) may be required, as well as attendance of community events outside of regular work hours. In addition, Family Futures requires all staff to comply with a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and/or monitor workflows of day-to-day operations in Connections
- Use project management tools to track progress and completion of program projects
- Regularly review procedures and tasks and modify as needed within Connections
- Supervision of staff, interns, and volunteers that work within the program.
- Assist with reporting to partners and funders
- Support partnerships with organizations and groups internally, including reporting and quality checks
- Identify opportunities for programmatic and organizational growth
- Lead and coordinate programmatic projects
- Ensure data driven efforts are implemented and evaluated
- Support database improvement and enhancement, including managing both the participant database and the online parent portal
- Be willing to travel throughout West Michigan on an as-needed basis
Education and Experience:
The Connections Project and Operations Coordinator candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in public relations, human services, communications, or a related field. This candidate should have at least 2 years experience in program oversight, developing relationships with organizations and/or community groups, or equivalent experience. This candidate should also have at least 2 years supervision experience. The ideal candidate will also have written and verbal communication experience representing an organization and have experience supervising staff in a past role.
