Job description
We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator. We are looking for an individual that has the ability to write proposals, estimate cost, and produce detailed takeoffs. Previous estimating experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Eligible candidates must be able to meet the following minimum requirements/skills:
- Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information
- Evaluate proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole
- Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects
- Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers
- Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
- Read plans and specifications and compose take-offs based on SF, CY, tonnage etc.
- Be proficient with all current windows based software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets
Current position is open for full time employment only.
