Laborer / CDL Driver - Underground Utility Construction
Yard Locations- Front Royal, VA, Johnstown, PA, Martinsburg, WV
*Qualified candidates should reside in PA, MD, WV, or VA

This position requires weekly travel typically within PA, WV, VA, and MD; Some home daily projects depending on where the employee resides.

Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking a safe and dependable Construction Laborer who holds a CDL and can fill in as a Driver.
Qualified candidates must be willing to work laboring responsibilities on construction projects most of their shifts.

Qualifications:

• Previous Construction Laborer experience required; water and sewer projects are highly preferred. This opportunity is more onsite construction work other with some CDL driving.
• Valid Class A or B CDL licenses with at least 1 year of experience; CDL Class A highly preferred. Tanker endorsement is a plus
• Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and dependability
• Be able to sit/stand and walk for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Must be in good physical shape for fast paced, laboring construction environment, must be able to lift/carry 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb and twist continuously throughout the day
• Able to work productively and safely both independently as well as in a team environment
• Pre-employment background and drug testing will be required

Overview of Schedule and Compensation:

• Hourly rate; Many projects are paid at prevailing wage
• Most projects crew will meet at construction site early Monday then home Thursday.
• Overtime and 5+ days required at times. Must work overtime hours when required
• Company pays lodging if out of town.
• Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage is available after 90 days of service

• Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay offered
• Eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
