Behavioral Health Team Lead
The Contact Center/211 Maine is hiring for a Behavioral Health Team Lead!
The Behavioral Health Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and training standards of the service. Team Leads should have a deep understanding of recovery, trauma informed care, providing information and referral, navigation and advocacy, care coordination and psychological first aid by supporting Contact Center operations and contacts from Maine residents. The Team lead supports real-time response, advocacy, and follow-up coordination to ensure clients connect with community resources.
This is a full-time, 40-hour position located throughout Cumberland County.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in social work or related field preferred. Associates degree required in the field of mental health, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.- 2 years’ experience working in a human services position preferred.
- Ability to obtain MHRT-CSP certification within 3 months (training provided).
- Ability to obtain Information and Referral Specialist (CRS) Certification within 3 years.
- Previous experience in a call center preferred.
- Ability to navigate the behavioral health system and healthcare landscape with an understanding of how to improve clients’ health outcomes while providing real-time mental health support, coping skills, stress management.
- Good communication skills-written and verbal. Must be able to engage people with respect and dignity over the phone, via text and email.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to plan and monitor the work of contact center staff time for maximum productivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Cultural awareness of the diverse population of new Mainers important.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
- Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but is not a primary and essential job responsibility.
Pay is competitive and will be based on experience and education.
