Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates, architects, plans, re-hosts, and maintains Docker container solutions on-premise and in an AWS cloud environment following DevSecOps processes.
• Develops, improves, documents, and manages effective deployment and migration strategies for software through the deployment process.
• Implements infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible technology for multiple OpenShift environments, as well as other infrastructure setups.
• Coordinates with customers to perform software security testing and scans.
• Conducts proactive performance tuning and provides recommendations for improvement.
• Applies critical system patches and upgrades.
• Clearly communicates and documents technical information to developers and business stakeholders.
• Develops and promotes standard operations documentation such as procedures, checklists and instructions.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience required.
• OpenShift and/or Container administration experience required.
• AWS experience required.
• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (must show proof prior to interview).

Desired:

• Docker and container orchestration software experience preferred.
• Design and development of cloud DevSecOps pipelines preferred.
• DISA STIGS and security policies knowledge preferred.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience preferred.

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
AA/AS degree and 3 years relevant experience OR high school diploma and 3+ years' experience.
