Job Description:

Contract Administrator (Remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs contract administration duties supporting the Federal Solutions Contracts Team. Duties include, but are not limited to, initiating various workflows in Parsons Contracts Life Cycle Management (CLM) System; evaluating Representations and Certifications; coordinating insurance requirements; maintenance and administration of legal entities in the System of Award Management (SAM); government-reporting; and other duties as may be assigned by management. The applicant will need to apply experience and increasing proficiency in the use of contract administration principles and practices. Typical assignments are larger in scope, more difficult, and varied than at the Associate level.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to independently initiate and follow through various CLM workflows to include, but not limited to, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Contract Modifications, and Contract Closeouts

  • Collaborates with Contract Administrators to provide business information in support of project requirements to include review of reps and certs, insurance requirements; support data calls as may be requested (i.e. identifying contractual flowdown requirements)

  • Coordinates with other functions to collect data for the purposes of preparing and submitting various government reporting to include, but not limited to: Contract Access Fees under GSA Schedule Contracts or Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC), Executive Compensation, Manpower Reporting, etc.

  • Administration, and maintenance of legal entities in the System of Award Management (SAM); to include coordination with other functions on collecting documentation required for setting up, updating or modifying entities in SAM;

  • Support internal/external audit requests (including DCAA, DCMA)

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and typically 3+ years of contract administration experience is required, preferably in support of US Government Contracts.


SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Requires working knowledge of industry business practices, including FAR/DFARS, and contract administration principles; experience in maintaining entity registrations in SAM.gov, DUNS; performing government reporting; support audits (DCAA, DCMA).

  • Applicant must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.

Salary Range:

$56,900.00 - $99,600.00
