Red River Commodities transforms sunflower seeds and select other specialty crops into tasty, high-quality food ingredients and food products. We are currently looking for a Contract Specialist to join our Procurement team. To be successful in this role, an individual will need to be detail oriented with excellent communication skills.

Summary:

The Contract Specialist duties will mainly consist of data entry of contract grower information, receipts, complete transfer orders, handle freight invoices, and shipping invoices all within our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete grower contracts. This includes, but is not limited to filling out grower information, mailing contracts, entering contract information into ERP system, and managing contracts.
• Knowledge of contract details including pricing, discounts, delivery points and contract language.
• Learn and advance knowledge of our ERP system.
• Enter growers/vendors into the ERP system.
• Enter all commodity receipts for our Northern Processing and Wildlife divisions.
• Complete all transfer orders for our Northern Processing and Wildlife divisions.
• Handle/Approve freight invoices applicable to commodity receipts entered.
• Enter all planting seed orders, including sales, seed returns and transfers.
• Routinely run position reports for our Processing and Wildlife divisions
• Complete shipping invoices for Processing division.
• Send and track planting seed confirmations yearly.
• Maintain records for loads received into our facilities and 3rd party locations.
• Complete shrink forms once 3rd party locations confirm any particular crop has been completely cleaned out of the facility.
• Complete other duties relevant to the position as they arise.
